On Sunday, Dec. 21, Lehigh's All-American Sheldon Seymour (125) won two big matches over nationally ranked opponents to go 2-0 at the Collegiate Wrestling Duals in Nashville, TN. His performance earned him EIWA Wrestler of the Week honors.

Seymour opened the first dual of the day against Illinois, with a 6-4 decision over No. 15 Spencer Moore. The Mountain Hawk notched takedowns in each of the first two periods to secure a 6-4 decision victory.

Fans were treated to a match between two returning All-Americans in Lehigh's second dual meet of the day vs. Iowa State. Seymour gave up the first takedown to the Cyclone's Stevo Poulin, but rallied back with takedowns in the second and third periods to win 9-6. With the pair of ranked victories, Seymour moves to 8-0 on the season.
