The first day of the 2022 EIWA Championships tournament at Cornell University is complete. Action through the quarter-finals and second round of consolations has concluded. All wrestlers remaining in the tournament are guaranteed at least 8th place.

The top two teams are Cornell and Penn. Cornell has racked up 94.5 points with eight men in the semi-finals and one alive in consolations. Penn has 86.5 points; the Quakers also advanced eight to the semis and have two in consolations. Princeton, with 69 points, four in the semis and five in consis, sits in third. Defending champion Lehigh is fourth with 62.5 points, four in the semis and four in the consis. Columbia, with 52.5 points, three in the semis and five in the consis, rounds out the top five.
